Life @ 12/9

Right, so life @ 12/9. I don't usually blog about my life. But since I am kinda 'free' now while talking to r.m.w, so yea.

It has been long since I last updated my blog, again. Life, busy as usual. I guess this wave started from orientation. I was in charge of Treasure Hunt. And mind you, it wasn't an easy job. Planning was done months ahead from the proposed event's date. Everything from planning how the TH should run to getting permits from the local authorities had to be done by my partner and I. Like any other THs, we had to decide where to place the next clue or the next station. And for the permits, it was more interesting. It was like a game of TH for myself the first time I went looking for the respective police station. After the first visit, I had to pay another 2 more visits to get the permit.

So, how did the THs turn out? The indoor wasn't that good but the outdoor was fun, at least that is what I thought. Oh, before I forget to mention, just incase you think all these are not fun enough, IMU had placed our exam on the orientation week itself. And to add some spice to the already spiced noodle, my indoor TH was on the exam day.

But, it was really a great experience. I learned a lot from this orientation. Not forgetting to mention, I made new friends, especially the semester 2 dudes. After all, this is what orientation is about isn't it?

This time, as I was the committee for the juniors orientation, I can't be a real OO. But still a floating OO I was. Hehe.. a floating OO for group 9. And the most important thing is group 9 won the variety night, AGAIN!! 3 times in a row since I entered IMU. Wuahahaha.. Of course, this time they won overall too!! Well done. But like what it was mentioned, it doesn't matter who won or what position your group got, it is the friendship you made, and, as an IMU student, Congratulations, you survived orientation!!

Orientation ended with Finale Night and I thought the nights after that will be free for me. So, I took some TV series back to vista from home, thinking that I will have more than enough time to enjoy what I missed during the exam + pre orientation period. Never I foresee that I wouldnt even have the chance to take out the DVD from my bag.

This was what happened.
Monday night. Mark suggested District 9 at 9.40pm at Sunway Pyramid. That time, I thought that since this whole week I will be at home for most of the night, why not? So at around 9pm we left vista to sunway. There goes a night.
Tuesday morning, around 1am. I was told by Fiona Teo that she will be visiting IMU on Tuesday. In another words, 10 hours later. So that morning she came. At night, we went for steamboat near Pyramid as a farewell dinner for her.
Wednesday. Infinity Milers in the evening. That morning, I was invited for supper with the orientation committees at 9.20pm. "Where?" "Williams." "Oh, that's interesting, because there is a Williams near my house in PJ too." "Yes, we are going to that one." So there we went for supper. Another night down.
Thursday. I was appointed as my house darts captain. And, no, I am not good at darts. After the IMU Cup's badminton match, I thought that I will be inactive throughout the whole IMU Cup, until I met the house captain. After that, I am in charge of darts event for my house, and I was suppose to train for swimming event. And now, I think if nobody is participating in tennis, I might as well go for it too. Better than leaving the spot blank right.

So now, I am suppose to sleep early, so that I can wake up early tomorrow and try playing tennis. Signing off.
