I survived!!!!

Today is probably one of the most important days for the m208s. This is because today is RESULTS DAY!!!

Another important thing is that I SURVIVED EOS 2 !!!

First year medic, completed.

Of course there are lessons learned from this EOS:
1. Never do last minute work. Or at least plan well since the beginning of semester.
2. Make sure you really understand what is in the notes on the day that particular lecture is presented.
3. Read more. To have a better understanding.
4. Write down those things that have to be memorized.

I think that is all I can think about now.

All in all, I am just so happy that I SURVIVED!!!

Just some random stuff about me

I think no matter how much I am into a person. Till the end, I think response plays an important role in sustaining. After all, it is something between you and me right? Of course it takes two hands to clap. But till the end, like what people will normally say, "if she is yours, she is yours." =)

reading blogs

I think it was since before EOS I started reading my friends' blogs. Previously, I thought it would be rather boring reading lines after lines written by friends talking about their encounters, their experience, their thoughts.

However, since I started reading them, it seams that by reading those I-once-thought-troublesome-to-read lines manage to reinforce my memories with those dudes. I think the way they write their blogs contributes to that: their choice of words, the structure of the sentences, etc.

So, to those who I once told that reading lines and lines are a waste of time, forget about it. I will visit your blog someday. When the time permits.

The Return.. again.. haha..

It had been long since I last wrote sth, excluding the post before EOS.

Today, till now, is quite a tiring yet productive day. I Completed a 15km run (woohoo... *clap clap clap*). Well, even though my finishing time was 1:5031 hours, but I am still happy with it. 1 hour 40 minutes is the qualifying time for a normal 15km run, but I am kinda satisfied with my timing due to a few reasons.

Firstly, the terrain was wavy. Almost half of the run was the Mizuno Wave Run's road*, just that this time we ran in the opposite direction.

Secondly, I thought I didnt really prepare for this run due to lack of training which further gives credits to EOS.

Thirdly, I DIDNT STOP throughout the whole 15km, which is an achievement to me. Haha. I was taught that not stopping during a long distance run is already winning half of the run.

And, I also worked my Secret during the run. During the run, I told myself that I would like to over take a few friends of mine, who usually finishes the race ahead of me. Guess what?? It worked!!

Before the race, I was told that only those who finished within the qualifying time gets a medal. With what happened after I first used the Secret, I thought that I should also ask for a finishers medal. I was a kilometer away from the finishing line when my watch showed that I had ran for 1:40. Even so, I kept on running, telling myself that at least I am proud of myself for not stopping the whole 15k. Again, guess what?? Even though I finished 10 minutes later than the qualifying time, I still got a finishers medal!! Apparently, the qualifying time was just for formality.

All in all, kinda good half a day I had. Haha. More to come for the rest of the day!!

For those who completed the 15km too,

“It is important that you recognize your progress and take pride in your accomplishments. Share your achievements with others. Brag a little. The recognition and support of those around you is nurturing.” - Rosemarie Rossetti

Finishers Medal

*fyi: Mizuno Wave Run was said to be 1 of the hardest run in Malaysia due to the up and down slopes throughout the run. Distance: 10km
